Established by Lorenzo Benetti in 1873, the company began life building wooden boats used for local and international trade. In 1985 the Boatyard was acquired by the celebrated Turin-based boat builder Azimut, which transformed Benetti into the modern, technologically advanced industry leader it is today.

After the death of Lorenzo, his two sons Gino and Emilio took over the management of the boatyard. They changed its name to Fratelli Benetti and quickly built up a reputation that extended beyond the Mediterranean. After the Second World War, with the disappearance of commercial sailing vessels built from wood, Benetti changed direction and began producing pleasure craft made from steel. Then in the early 1960s the boatyard produced its first luxury mega yachts.

Under the guidance of CEO, Vincenzo Poerio, whose objective when he joined the company in 1993 was to build on the brand's reputation for finely crafted interiors and focus on engineering, construction and propulsion, Benetti now leads the world in boat building and innovation. The 63m (206.69ft) Custom motor yacht 11.11 was launched in 2015 and is truly unique in every way. Available for charter in the Caribbean over the winter season and the Mediterranean for the summer, 11.11 is opulent and luxurious, and equally designed with family-friendly cruising in mind.

From her striking profile and multiple communal spaces to her Art Deco-inspired interiors, abounding in original artwork, 11.11 boasts accommodation for 12 guests and 16 crew across four decks. The 58m (190.29ft) custom-built charter vessel ILLUSION V was designed by Green & Mingarelli Design, responsible for her striking exterior lines and exquisite interiors boasting rare and exotic materials such as walnut, onyx, Lalique crystal, parchment and silks.

ILLUSION V has an array of dining, entertainment and relaxation areas, a full bar and beach area on her lower deck, and the latest technology in stability and noise reduction. With superlative interiors designed by highly-awarded Evan K Marshall in collaboration with Benetti's Domenico Gavagnin, and exterior styling by Benetti, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER is a 60m (196.85ft) Benetti created as "the ultimate charter vessel" and available for charter in the Mediterranean.

Her sumptuous décor features glossy timber, Art Deco accents, highly decorative panelling and glasswork, mirrors, diamante trimming and all the excess worthy of the Bond-themed name.

SOVEREIGN

One of the largest luxury motor yachts available for charter in Australia, SOVEREIGN is a 44m (177.17ft) Benetti yacht which offers a world-class charter experience.
