See you at the 40th Cannes Yachting Festival

The 2016 show attracted 51,000 visitors to the venues in Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto, a vibrant mix of luxury yacht and sail boat amateurs and seasoned experts alike. A chance to preview over 600 boats displayed both in and out of the water and 530 exhibitors.

Recognised as one of the most important international boating events and Europe's largest in-water show, the Cannes Yachting Festival is known for its diversity of charter yachts in a range of sizes from all over the globe. Following the successful launch of La Terasse during last year's show, the Cannes Yachting Festival is unveiling the 'Luxury Gallery' situated within the Palais des Festivals which will be dedicated to premium brands outside of yachting: automotive, timepieces, jewellery, gastronomy, private aviation, leather goods, art and design.

The pièce de résistance at this year's show will be the third edition of the Concours d'Elégance – an on-water parade of vintage and contemporary boats, reserved for owners or collectors of motorboats and day boats of less than 12 metres. This takes place on the Vieux Port de Cannes to the delight of all boat lovers, Thursday 14 September from 5 pm, with prizes for Judges' and people's choice.

The Riviera and Med charter fleet will be well represented at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival. Luxury Charter Group will attend, inspecting charter yachts and renewing contacts with the Captains, crews and management of these magnificent mega yachts.

Among the top superyachts on display are:

VIGILANT 1

One of the rare Lagoon 630 motor yachts on the crewed luxuy charter fleet, VIGILANT 1 was designed for the most discerning charter market. VIGILANT 1 is a lavishly appointed catamaran that boasts superior space, with all the speed of a motor yacht.
VIGILANT 1 can host up to eight charter passengers with a large master and three double cabins, all with ensuite and ample storage space.

The massive saloon flows out to the large aft cockpit for lazy days in the sunshine at sea.

The chef on board will delight guests with her prowess from the open galley in the saloon, while her array of watertoys mean on-water fun is a great part of the charter adventure: 15ft tender, waterskis, snorkeling gear, fishing equipment, wakeboard, standup paddle boards and tow tubes.

CALMAO

The brand new Sunreef 74 CALMAO is the newest addition to Sunreef Yachts Charter fleet which will captivate charterr guests with her supreme luxury design and the ultimate onboard comfort.

This remarkable sailing catamaran offers a charter friendly layout featuring three ensuite double cabins, including a generously sized master cabin, and one Twin cabin with a Pullman bed, ideal for up to nine guests. The saloon features with a galley up arrangement, with spacious lounging and dining space and large aft deck for entertaining and socialising.

CALMAO's most appealing feature is her front terrace which can be accessed directly from the saloon. This leisure space boasts sunpads, a large sofa and a table, providing perfect spot for enjoying the breathtaking views or soaking up the sun. Then there's the large flydbridge and cockpit, both with outstanding lounging and dining amenities.

CALMAO is a fantastic aquatic sports platform, with a full complement of toys, including jet ski, wakeboards, paddle boards, water skis and a selection of towables, to entertain guests of all ages.

SERENITAS

32m (105ft) motor yacht SERENITAS is a steel displacement yacht, very stable and comfortable whilst cruising, and featuring state-of-the-art zero speed stabilizers for rock solid decks whilst at anchor.

SERENITAS has space and luxury facilities for up to 10 charter guests in five cabins. SERENITAS has modern light interior decorated in soothing white and pale blue, alfresco dining on her large aft deck, Jacuzzi and deck space similar to a much larger superyacht for her fortunate charter guests to spread out and relax.

The open plan saloon and dining feature large panoramic windows allow for optimum views. Further forward on the main deck, is the full beam master stateroom.

Aft of the saloon, the shaded deck is a great place for alfresco dining, plus there are two unique port and starboard fold out balconies. The extended swim platform on the transom ensures guests ease of access to the water.

Above the main deck, the sundeck boasts a luxurious Jacuzzi and sunpad, leading to the comfortable lounge area offering both sun and shaded seating. Then there's the forward facing alfresco dining table, followed by a large sunpad and plenty of seating to truly enjoy your time on the water aboard SERENITAS.

SERENITAS has a good selection of water sport toys on board including: 5m (16.3ft) tender with 105hp engine, Waverunner SeaDoo 155hp GTE, windsurfer, kayaks, canoes, SUPs, water skis for kids and adults, wakeboard, inflatables, snorkelling equipment and fishing gear.
