Highlights of the 2018 Greek Charter Show

Nafplion is famous for Bourtzi, a fortress built on an islet in the middle of the bay, Palamidi, a Venetian fortress crowning the city and Akronafplia another Venetian fortress built on the homonymous peninsula.

According to the Greek mythology, the city takes its name from its founder, Nafplion, son of Poseidon and Amymonis.

The Mediterranean Yacht Show has established itself as a must-attend event on the global yachting calendar, offering internatonional brokers the opportunity to inspect and appraise an outstanding fleet of commercial EU-flagged luxury yachts and the high caliber of services they provide.

This year, the show will take place from 28 April to 1 May and is set to attract another impressive line-up of exquisite leisure crafts available for charter in Greek waters and beyond. 

A perennial highlight of the 5th Mediterranean Yacht Show, the Chefs' Competition returns this year, showcasing some of the finest culinary talents in Greece.  Chefs from the region's best luxury crewed yachts will emerge from their galleys ready to engage in a battle of flavours and impress the presiding judges. Aimed at highlighting the diverse culinary traditions of Greece as well as the opportunities afforded by its fresh and varied produce, the MEDYS Chefs' Competition celebrates the creative gastronomic talents found within professional yachting crews.

PATHOS

PATHOS is an impressive example of a Sunseeker 40 Metre Yacht, joining the world charter fleet in 2018 and available for charter in Greece. Luxury charter yacht PATHOS accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 lavish and spacious cabins. The master stateroom on the upper deck boasts a large ensuite, private sauna and deck area, providing amazing views from all angles.

The main saloon comprises a lounge, dining area and the addition of hydraulic balconies that extend the interior space and the experience of the ocean beyond. The sun deck aboard PATHOS has a jacuzzi, sun lounges, bar area with large flatscreen TV, dining table and undercover section for protection from the Mediterranean sun.

SELENE

Sailing catamaran SELENE is a brilliant example of a Lagoon 620 (18.8m) and is entering the charter fleet for the first time in 2018, available for the ultimate charter experience in the Greek Islands.

SELENE accommodates 10 guests in five spacious queen cabins, each with ensuite. Inside, SELENE boasts a large saloon with lounge and dining spaces, AV and home theatre.

On the expansive aft deck, guests can enjoy alfresco dining and relaxing. An hydraulic platform easily transforms from tender stowage to private swimming deck. SELENE has an array of watertoys onboard including tubes, waterskis, wakeboard, kneeboard, inflatable kayak, and scuba gear, snorkeling and fishing equipment.

Her talented crew of three are wonderful hosts and have unrivalled local knowledge of the Mediterranean, delivering a sensational charter vacation for guests.

Z2

This impressive Pershing superyacht is 90ft (27.6m) of sheer style and performance, and the ideal charter vessel for your Greek Islands vacation.

Guaranteed to turn heads in every port, Z2 has a lean, muscular exterior with a deep blue and silver hull and extended roofline over the aft deck for sun protection and privacy. Her cruising speed of 34 knots means you will be able to travel between islands and anchorages with exhilarating speed.

Z2 sleeps up to eight guests in four staterooms, each with ensuite and decked out with exquisite linens, subdued lighting and frosted glass for illumination and privacy.

The spacious saloon provides a welcoming ambience with large sofas and a separate dining section for up to eight, while interior styling is modern and elegant, in dark timber, leather and neutral palette.

The four professional crew onboard Z2 are known for their hospitality and attention to detail, all aimed at the comfort and enjoyment of guests.

OURANOS

OURANOS is a beautiful, blue-hulled luxury charter yacht available for charter in the Greek Islands. This 45m Italian-made Nadara 45 by Tecnomar was the fastest tri-deck planing motor yacht at the time of her launch in 2016.

OURANOS boasts four deck levels dedicated to leisure and entertainment: soaking up the sun, dining alfresco, taking to the water with any of the various watercraft, or just relaxing under the healing hands of the onboard masseuse.

Accommodation onboard is for 12 charter guests in six luxuriously appointed staterooms, each with ensuite and state-of-the-art TV, AV and communications. Entertain and relax in 5-star style in the serenely decorated saloon which flows into the main dining area. Styling is minimal, yet warm and inviting, with a palette of neutrals and cool aquatic hues.

AQUA LIBRA 131

A 40.05m Sunseeker and new to the charter market in 2018, AQUA LIBRA 131 has accommodation for 11 guests in five luxurious cabins.

AQUA LIBRA 131's interiors combine innovative design with modern amenities to offer the perfect blend of contemporary cool and inviting cosy ambience. The spacious main saloon comprises lounge and separate dining, and features finely grained woods, luxurious fabrics, eco-friendly materials and tasteful decorative elements, plus floor to ceiling windows for panoramic sea views.

State of the art AV means entertainment is unlimited onboard and there are several dedicated areas for dining, leisure and simply reclining and enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine: the aft deck, upper deck, sundeck and foredeck.

The sundeck is fantastically appointed with wet bar, alfresco dining area, sun pads, chaise lounges, deluxe jacuzzi and shaded area. For the water enthusiasts, there is a good-sized swim platform and access to the latest watertoys for hours of on-water fun.

ARISTARCHOS

A 131ft (39.9m) Nautor's Swan 131, ARISTARCHOS is truly one of a kind. For her fortunate charter guests, the 989 square metres of sail area make the sailing experience one of the highlights, as ARISTARCHOS is to this day the largest, single-haul luxury sailing yachts ever built. With her jet blue hull and gleaming teak decks, she is a breathtaking under full sail.

Deemed the ultimate ocean-going, performance, luxury sailing yacht ARRISTARCHOS boasts spacious deck areas, high-tech navigation and entertainment systems onboard and interiors that are warm and inviting for her seven charter guests.

Inside, ARISTARCHOS has tasteful design and décor: walnut floors, dark leather lounges and polished timber walls, complemented by subtle marine themes, turquoise soft furnishings and evocative lighting.

The raised saloon allows natural light to illuminate the entire room, making the most of panoramic views. The dining area stretches full beam, while every detail is exquisite, from Baccarat crystal-ware and hand painted Bernardaud china to Christolfe silverware and original art works.

On the lower deck, the Master Stateroom is full-bream and comprises two double beds, dressing table, his and hers walk in robes, TV/DVD and stereo systems. There are two additional staterooms, one with a double bed and a lounge that can be converted into a single bed and one with two twin beds. All cabins have ensuite facilities and satellite TV, DVD and surround sound system stereo.

ARISTARCHOS is crewed by an expert team of six and available for charter in Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Montenegro.

PIOLA

A superb Ferretti superyacht, at 83ft (25.3m) PIOLA is combines comfort and speed, with elegant styling and modern amenities. With accommodation for up to nine charter guests in four spacious cabins, PIOLA has ample deck space for entertaining and socialising.
