27th Monaco Yacht Show 2017

Under the patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, MYS curates the exhibition of 125+ extraordinary one-off mega yachts built by shipyards from every continent, including 40 world premieres.

Spanning four days, MYS features an incredible 9,000 squares metres of exhibition space and a vast assembly of high-tech products and luxury yachts which can be seen both in port and at-anchor a short distance away.

Monaco provides the ultimate showcase for industry influencers from the most reputable superyacht builders, award winning yacht designers, luxury suppliers, influential brokerage houses to the most sought-after water toys, prestige cars, helicopter and private jet manufacturers.

Now with additional berths, the 2017 edition of the show is anticipated to attract an even greater assortment of luxury yachts. A magnet for the global yachting industry, this invitation-only event features a stellar line-up of highly desirable luxury charter yachts.

Luxury Charter Group will attend this year's MYS, inspecting the current fleet of luxury charter vessels available in the Riviera, Mediterranean and Caribbean, renewing acquaintances with Captains, crews and managers and seeing first-hand the many attributes of this diverse range of superyachts in charter.

Among the impressive charter boats on show, the following are Luxury Charter Group's selection of the standout vessels you may consider for your next charter vacation.

SEVEN SINS

Built in 2017 by Italian yard Sanlorenzo, charter yacht SEVEN SINS is the largest motor yacht to date from the brand, at 52m (171ft), and is making her world debut at Monaco Yacht Show.

This steel-hulled superyacht has accommodation for 10 guests in five staterooms.

One of the groundbreaking elements on the aft section is the large swimming pool on the main deck. Boasting a transparent floor, it allows natural light to filter into the beach club below. This space features two folding terraces, one on each side of the yacht, serving as platforms with direct access to the sea.

The same area can be transformed into a garage with a controlled flooding system for the storage of a tender up to eight-metres in length. This part of the Yacht also houses a fully equipped, customised gym.

The internal layout hosts a large Owner's apartment forward on the main deck including a private office, a full-beam cabin and an ensuite in sculpted marble.

There are two spacious saloons, one on the main deck and one on the upper deck, plus external living areas on the main, upper and sun decks. Other impressive attributes include an internal staircase in Carrara marble, a glass exhibition case displaying the owner's artwork, and a sixth guest cabin on the bridge deck.

VERTIGE

Luxury charter yacht VERTIGE was built in 2017 by Tankoa, and is a 50m (164ft) motor yacht that comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests in six staterooms, with interiors and exteriors designed by Francesco Paszkowski.

The decks of VERTIGE are exceptionally well-appointed across three levels, with ample space for relaxation and socialising.

The alfresco space aft of the main deck offers outdoor dining options, a fabulous sunpad lounge area, a wet bar and the option to have complete shade.

Adjacent to the skylounge, the upper deck of VERTIGE has more alfresco dining and seating options. Luxury charter yacht VERTIGE also has extra seating available on her foredeck. Along with superb views, the sundeck offers a Jacuzzi, wet bar with seating, sun lounges and dining table. The mega yacht also features a garage side deck that allows guests to access water toys without disrupting those on the fold-out teak Beach Club.

AQUARIUS

Launched in December 2106, this stunning 92m (301.9ft) motor yacht by Feadship De Vries is a custom-designed charter yacht for long-range world cruising in an environment of relaxed, contemporary luxury.

Exterior and interior design are by award-winning Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design in close cooperation with Wynn Design & Development. Impressive interior volumes and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the luxury yacht offer panoramic sea views imparting a completely new dimension to superyacht living. AQUARIUS features a dedicated owner's penthouse deck, incorporating a private aft terrace, media room and vast stateroom with his and her bathrooms and dressing rooms.

AQUARIUS boasts six large ensuite VIP guest suites all positioned on the main deck.

A large swimming pool is located on the main deck aft, while the large sun deck provides the ultimate outdoor space. The sea-level beach club leads to a spa area housing a guest gym with fold-down terrace for workouts, a massage room and beauty salon. Two substantial tenders are stowed in the tender bay which has gull-wing doors to port and starboard. There's a helicopter landing pad on the foredeck.

CLOUD 9

Brand new to charter in 2017, this impeccable 74m (242ft) luxury motor yacht was custom built by CRN in Italy, with interiors designed by Winch Design and exterior styling by Zuccon International Project.

CLOUD 9 boasts impressive volume – more than 10,764 square feet (1,000 square metres) spread over five decks, plus a sub deck. With a beam of 13.5 metres, saloons and staterooms are exceptionally spacious. Forward of the master suite is a large alfresco space, with easy flow between enclosed and open spaces.

The luxury mega yacht comfortably accommodates up to 12 charter guests in one master suite, a VIP suite and six guest staterooms. In addition there are berths for four staff in two cabins.  There are 22 crew members in separate accommodation.

SARASTAR

Built by Mondomarine, Italy, the tri-deck superyacht SARASTAR is a 60m (197.5ft) luxury charter yacht that entered the charter fleet in July 2017. With sporty and elegant lines, luxury mega yacht SARASTAR was designed by acclaimed designer Luca Dini, who has incorporated white onyx, exotic marbles, semi-precious stones and silk into interiors.

Designers created a strong link between all three decks with a series of triple skylights to allow light to flow from the sun deck down to the beach club, via the aft deck.

SARASTAR accommodates up to 12 charter guests in one master, four double guest suites and one twin guest suite. A key centrepiece on board SARASTAR is a glass sculpture by Italian artist Lorenzo Malfatti, which encloses the spectacular superyacht staircase. There is also an amazing full-beam sky lounge on the upper deck and a versatile space on the foredeck, which can be used as an enclosed superyacht tender garage, or opened up to create a sunbathing space, helipad or dance floor.

LADY SARA

LADY SARA 57m (187ft) is a 2012 superyacht built by US yard Trinity Yachts and winner of the 2013 World Superyacht Award for Best Three-deck Semi-displacement or Planing Motor Yacht.

A voluminous interior decorated in fine marble and stone by Evan K Marshall accommodates 12 guests in six staterooms consisting of a main deck master suite, four identical double suites and a twin, all with entertainment centres, television screens and marble ensuites.

The guest suite on the bridge deck can be converted to a gymnasium if required. Supremely well-conceived for entertaining, LADY SARA's main saloon is inviting and comfortable while the formal dining room seats 12 guests and is designed to offer impeccable white glove service. The more informal sky lounge features large picture windows bringing in an abundance of natural light and houses a high specification entertainment centre, a bar, a games table and plenty of welcoming seating areas for relaxing. Equally spacious deck areas have been designed for al fresco enjoyment, with full outdoor dining amenities for 12 guests located aft on both the main deck and bridge deck, each of which can be completely climate controlled.

The expansive sundeck will delight sun worshippers and is equipped with a Jacuzzi, sunpads, sun loungers, a large full service bar, barbecue grill and full entertainment centre. Oval sliding glass doors enclose the bar and entertainment space to create a disco! With additional features such as a touch-and-go helipad, a full inventory of water toys and a crew recruited to deliver top notch service, LADY SARA is an exceptional charter yacht.

OKTO

Built in 2014 by the International Shipyard, Italy, OKTO is a 66m (217ft) luxury charter yacht with incredible features, including nearly silent propulsion, a breathtaking infinity pool that is six metres long and with six options: salt or freshwater, warm or cool water, still or contraflow.

With a cantilevered upper deck, OKTO'S dining terrace leads inside to a circular cinema with a 103-inch screen.

The Master suite has an automatic balcony, a separate VIP suite and is finished in white sycamore. OKTO has been designed to dramatic effect using a limited colour palette of black, white and silver. Spectacular sculptures and bold furniture pieces create a contemporary style that is awe-inspiring.

Onboard for guests' complete leisure is a massage, beauty and therapy room with massage therapist/beautician in attendance, as well as an impressive array of tenders and toys to keep even the most energetic charter guests occupied.

SEALYON

Launched by Viareggio Superyachts in 2009, SEALYON was designed by legendary yacht specialist, Espen Oeino. Her interior, styled by Candy & Candy, is inspired by Art Deco while her layout has been meticulously designed for entertaining and socialising with a myriad of lounging and relaxing areas both inside and on deck.

Luxury charter yacht SEALYON accommodates 12 charter guests in six luxurious staterooms including a Master suite, a VIP stateroom, two double staterooms and two twin staterooms that can be converted into doubles. Similar to the main saloon, the staterooms are all decorated with an art deco feel while the master suite boasts remarkable panoramic views.

SEALYON has a number of dining areas to choose from, including formal dining in the saloon and al fresco meals on deck. With two experienced chefs at your disposal you will be sure to enjoy only the finest cuisine.

The rotating circular sun pad aft of the sun deck, complete with cooling mist for relief from the sun, is the ideal spot for recharging your batteries or immersing yourself in a good book.

Other facilities on board include an office, gym, Schimmel grand piano, entertainment room and enormous open sun deck, as well a myriad of water toys and tenders available for guests on their charter vacation.

OASIS

The 59.4m (194.88ft) charter superyacht OASIS was built in 2006 by Lurssen and last refitted in 2009, with immaculate interiors by Glade Johnson Design.

OASIS has an esteemed charter reputation, accommodating 12 guests in six lavish staterooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. The full-beam Master Suite boasts a private lounge complete with 50" TV.

With an interior décor that is both laid back and chic in Country House-style, OASIS spoils charter guests for choice with onboard activities, including fully equipped Gym that converts into Nightclub with mood lighting and TV, an open sundeck, barbeque and a Jacuzzi.

OASIS comes complete with a massive array of watertoys, as well as a beautiful 7.5m Vikal custom sports tender for day trips to shore in enviable style.

STEP ONE

The 55m (180.45ft) Amels 180 Limited Editions motor yacht STEP ONE was built in 2012 with interiors designed by Laura Sessa Romboli and exterior styling by Tim Heywood Design.

STEP ONE accommodates up to 10 guests in five staterooms, including a master suite, four double cabins and one twin cabin.

Ideal for families and large groups, STEP ONE has a 155m² split-level sundeck, a steam room in the Beach Club, a piano bar in skylounge and a helipad.

After lively evenings in the glamorous skylounge, where the grand piano can be relied on for live entertainment, guests can continue the conversation on the upper deck aft, where they can dine alfresco or sit around the stern under the stars.

PRIDE

The 44.8m (146.98ft) custom-built luxury charter yacht PRIDE was built in 2013 by Viudes Yachts, with sophisticated exterior design and engineering by Isonaval and interiors by Aldo Cichero.

PRIDE accommodates 12 guests in six cabins: a full-beam Master suite with two side balconies, a full-beam VIP, two doubles and two twins, and her décor is traditional, warm and luxurious with timber paneling and sumptuous furnishings.

For the complete comfort and relaxation of her charter guests, PRIDE has exceptionally large exterior spaces and a great balance between formal and informal areas.

On her sun deck, guests will enjoy the massive sun pad island, while at water level, there's an extended swim platform with umbrella and lounges for hours of tranquil repose.

As well as a fully-equipped gym, PRIDE has an impressive arsenal of watertoys onboard for on-water fun for all ages.
