Luxury Charter Group Previews the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show

More than 100 new superyachts will be on show on and around the magnificent Port Hercule, with around 450 selected businesses, brands and services on display around the marina.

From 28 September to 1 October, the MYS is also the hub for the leading charter brokers and their clients to inspect the latest vessels to enter the global charter market.

Luxury Charter Group will attend MYS 2022 and has arranged to inspect all the charter yachts on show, as well as meetings with Captains and central agents of this year’s standout charter yachts. In our role as yacht broker, we will also be meeting key yacht builders and their representatives with our clients who have expressed interest in constructing their own custom-designed superyacht.

Here are just some of the exceptional luxury charter yachts on show this year:

PROJECT X

Making her debut at MYS, PROJECT X is an 88-metre superyacht designed by Ken Freivokh with interiors by Massari Design and built by Golden Yachts. The luxury charter yacht’s new name will also be revealed in Monaco.

Instantly recognisable for the X-shaped column on the superstructure which conceals a three-deck atrium, PROJECT X was launched earlier this year at the Golden Yachts’ shipyard in Athens, Greece, and is among the top 110 superyachts in the world in terms of volume. Across five decks, she has accommodation for 12 charter guests in nine staterooms, including a large master suite and a VIP suite. A glass-walled elevator connects the three decks and is believed to be the first of this size ever installed on a yacht. Internal glass balconies also offer the best views in the house, and special lighting has been installed with perimetric glass floor panels.

Amenities include a touch-and-go helipad, a glass-walled pool and a jacuzzi, a large open aft deck for outdoor activities, a conference room, an entertainment room, and a superlative spa that includes a Finnish sauna and Hammam. Over 150 materials have been used for finishes, from marble to genuine leather and precious wood.

The packed garage houses a variety of water toys, including a Pedrazzini Vivalle classic tender, a larger Onda limousine tender and two 6.3m Whitmarsh RIB tenders, plus Seadoos, Seabobs, and Ducati e-mountain bikes for onshore exploring. 28 crew will ensure every charter is a memorable experience.

COME TOGETHER

The head-turning golden hull of the amazing Espen Øino-designed Amel 60 Limited Editions superyacht, COME TOGETHER, with naval architecture from Damen Yachting, will stun all those who see her at MYS with her array of unique features.

The 197ft (60m) luxury charter yacht boasts a large beach club that can be accessed directly from the lower deck guest cabins, a vast 27m sun deck and 7-square-metre fold-down terrace in the master suite. With luxurious accommodation for 12 guests, a huge swim platform and a multi-skilled crew of 14 including a personal trainer, yoga instructor and DJ along with a collection of the latest watertoys, COME TOGETHER will delight charter guests with her attributes and on board amenities.

HELIOS

194ft (59.1m) HELIOS is a timeless Oceanco superyacht, launched in 2001 and superbly refitted in 2021. 

With accommodation for 12 charter guests, HELIOS provides expansive exteriors, and an expanded sundeck with sunpads, sun lounges, large jacuzzi, bar, grill and dining area. There’s also alfresco dining space and a large beach club area on the lower decks. Inside, HELIOS is decorated in a fresh and neutral style, combining shades of gold and beige with light timber panelling.

Both her main and upper saloons feature comfortable sofas, bars, entertainment systems and large windows for light and panoramic views. ROCKET ONE

The 121ft (37m) luxury charter yacht ROCKET ONE was built by Gulf Craft and launched in 2022. ROCKET ONE features impeccable interior styling by Italian designer Cristiano Gatto Design and accommodates up to 12 guests in six palatial staterooms featuring marble ensuites.

From her expansive sundeck with sun lounges, undercover dining, bar and jacuzzi, to her swim platform with beach club lounge, ROCKET ONE is a majestic superyacht. There are several deck spaces for guests to dine, entertain, relax and socialise in absolute luxury, including a large foredeck with seating, table and a full array of sunpads.

Inside, her opulent interiors comprise two saloons with formal dining spaces and lounges decked out in the high-tech AV systems. Nine crew are on hand to create the most memorable charter experiences for the fortunate guests aboard ROCKET ONE.

SØRVIND

Sporty and elegant, SØRVIND is a 113ft (34.5m) sailing superyacht built by Southern Wind shipyard in South Africa and delivered in 2022. Featuring a refined profile from Nauta Design and naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, SØRVIND was created for sheer sailing pleasure, with all the comfort and amenities of a luxury superyacht.

SØRVIND is built with a full carbon hull, deck and bulkheads, with titanium deck hardware and FlexiTeek decking, which results in a high performance yacht that can sail in a wide range of wind conditions. On deck, charter guests can take advantage of a marvellous dining and lounge section forward of the helm, beneath the sails. The foredeck too is the perfect place for guests to soak up the sunshine.

Below decks, the large, well lit, saloon features a comfortable conversation area to starboard and the dining area on the port side. The décor is chic and sophisticated with no expense spared on the details, including hull windows and skylights, 5-star furnishings, high-tech entertainment systems and expert craftsmanship throughout the vessel.
