Sharon Bahmer, is Luxury Charter Group's USA Senior Charter Executive, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The majority of her clients are resident in the USA; however she also has an extensive international clientele who desire charter destinations primarily in the Caribbean, Bahamas, USA and Mediterranean.

With three decades of experience across the complete spectrum of luxury yacht charters to her credit, Sharon's intimate cruising knowledge and astute people skills sit comfortably with the Luxury Charter Group's ethos – to create the perfect match between client, charter vessel and destinations.

Since arriving stateside, Sharon has been a Marine Industry professional and has been firmly established in Fort Lauderdale, FL for 30 years.  

Sharon is passionate about finding the perfect yacht for you. She regularly attends international industry events, personally inspects charter yachts, and interacts with Captains and Crews. This assures her ability to recommend a yacht and crew that will exceed the needs of even the most highly specialized agenda.

Her life has always been intertwined with the sea. Sharon has cruised significant distances under sail, including an Atlantic crossing from her native South Africa to Brazil on a sailing yacht, followed by voyages to some of the most beautiful islands and destinations in the Caribbean. This lifestyle is so ingrained in her that she often spends her vacations aboard sail and motor yachts, exploring exotic and romantic locations such as French Polynesia and Indonesia. Sharon has continued to broaden her knowledge travelling to and exploring itineraries in prime charter destinations, therefore confidently advising you on Greece, Croatia, Italy, French Riviera, Turkey, Caribbean, South Pacific and Asia. 

Sharon’s professional standing in the luxury yacht charter industry is distinguished. She has been a Board member of the Charter Yacht Brokers Association International (CYBA) since 2008, serving as President for two years, (2014 to 2016), contributing to the yacht charter industry by Chairing the Education, Ethics, and Membership committees and assisting with the content and launch of the Charter Yacht Brokers Association’s Online New Broker Course. 

She is currently the Vice-President of CYBA. Additionally, Sharon is a member in good standing of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) and a proud member of The Worldwide Yacht Charter Association (MYBA).
